What comes into our mind—Comes out in our life

You cannot have a positive life when you have a negative mind.
What Does God Say About The War We Are In?
Dunamis—Explosive power of God!

Ochuroma—Military Stronghold—Fortress built at the highest peak of a city.
What does our spiritual enemy do?

Do You Want To Be Resilient Against Life's Challenges?
Identify the biggest stronghold holding you back
What do you do when a lie comes into your mind?

We think things like:
Your life is always moving in the direction of your strongest thoughts.

Our Brains Have Neural Pathways: Billions of pathways/roads in your brain
The more you think a thought—The easier it is to think it again

Mental Stronghold: A Wall Made Of Thoughts

If Your Negative Ruts Run Deep About Yourself, They Show Up In How You See Others

Ruts vs Trenches
Rut: Frustrating day work—Chaos at home—You Yell at the kids!
Trench: Pause. Pray. Hug.

Rut: Feel bad— Eat Cake, Chips, Ice cream
Trench: Walk, workout.

Rut: Bored—Scroll through IG, Facebook
Trench: Read Your Bible, YouVersion
You can create new pathways in your brain!

To think in a different way—Forge a new path in your brain.
How Do I Begin Getting Better?

1. Identify the biggest stronghold holding you back. Just one.

2. Name the truth that demolishes that stronghold.
Greek—Take captive—War term: Capture w/ a spear, sword

If Your Mind Says:

You Tell It:
Mind says: It's too much. I can’t make it.
You say: I can do all things through Christ.
Feeling Miserable?
According to Nehemiah 8:10 - The joy of the Lord is my strength.
