Message: He Shall Be Called Prince of Peace

Locations & Times

Wanamaker Woods Church of the Nazarene

3501 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka, KS 66614, USA

Sunday 7:00 AM

Commitments and convictions just aren’t enough.
We misbehave before we misbelieve.
We all have the potential to turnaway from the living God.
The best way to avoid self-deception is to refuse to do life all by yourself.

Who has access and permission into your life?

Digging Deeper - Life Group Questions

Life Group Questions:

What stood out to you from this week’s message?

How have you seen that commitments and convictions aren’t enough to keep people from drifting?

Pastor Michael said we tend to misbehave before we misbelieve. What does this mean? How have you seen this in your life?

Read Hebrews 3:12-13. What stands out to you in this passage?

We all have the potential to have a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. Do you agree or disagree with this?

Re-read Hebrews 3:13. What does it mean to encourage one another daily? How have you benefited from someone encouraging you daily?

When have there been times when you’ve tried to do life on your own? What were the results? When have there been times when you granted access and permission to someone into your life? What were the results?

Who has access and permission in your life to encourage, challenge, or correct you?

In light of this week’s message and this conversation, what is one thing you are going to do to live out these truths?

How can we pray for you?
