Be Rich

This year for our Christmas initiative we have a some opportunities for you to care for others. Through December 31, we are collecting funds for the children's home in Sierra Leone to improve safety and security. The total cost of the project is estimated at $26,174. This wall will help protect the children by preventing unwanted trespassing and theft.

If you feel God leading you to give financially towards this initiative, you can give to the Be Rich fund online, via text to 434-290-4483 (using BERICH and the monetary amount, for example BERICH100) or you may write a check, putting Be Rich on the memo line.

NEW LONDON CAMPUS
At New London we are supporting Our Daily Bread by collecting essential items (hats, gloves, socks, protein bars & granola bars, reusable water bottles, baby wipes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, & deodorant) for 300 shoeboxes. Please consider donating any of these items. With your help, we can provide useful gifts and necessities to those in need. Items should be dropped off in the atrium next Sunday by noon. Your generosity will make such a difference to someone!

BEDFORD CAMPUS
We are supporting the Christmas Station, which is right here in Bedford! We're collecting gently used and new coats in all sizes for them to give out. Coats should be dropped off in the atrium next Sunday by noon.

They also want to put together 300 hygiene kits, which cost $7.50 each, so we will be collecting funds for those through next Sunday as well.

Serving Opportunities

At Blue Ridge we believe that serving is not only an appropriate response to God, it is also an avenue to encounter Him in new ways and experience spiritual growth. When you are answering God's calling to serve, He equips and fills you. When you serve it's much more than pouring out what's been poured into you, it's a way to move closer to God.
