RECAP: Let Every Heart Prepare Him Room
There is a family in the Christmas story that is often overlooked. You won’t find them in a Nativity set, but their story prepares the way for Jesus. In this series, we’re looking at the story of Zechariah, Elizabeth, and their miracle baby, John. Their story can inspire us to make room for God to work in our lives this holiday season.

2. Have you ever heard the story of Zechariah, Elizabeth & John? What do you know about them?
3. When you think about making room for Jesus in your life this holiday season, what are some of the things that hinder that in your life? Busyness? Struggles? Past Hurts?
4. Read Luke 1:11-17. We see that God works wonders in the life of this family. How do you think Zechariah felt all the years he was praying for this miracle? How can we make room for God to work His wonders in our lives?
5. Read Luke 1:25. We see that God removes the shame surrounding Elizabeth. How have you seen or experienced this?
6. Read John 3:30. What are some practical ways to make God greater in your life?
7. Read Luke 1 -3 and take some more time to reflect on this family and the birth of Jesus.
