Salt and Light Baptist Church

A big thank you to all who helped last week in our Anniversary celebration. Thank you Nick, Pito, Cheri, Tom, and Sarah for giving us testimony about the church and thank you to Max and Maddie for the special music.

Make sure to keep up with the daily Bible reading plan. We have started Ezra this weekend. If you have fallen behind or not kept up, please jump in with us. Reading God's word daily is very important.

Our new evangelism study kicked off Wednesday. Tell Someone was produced by Greg Laurie and Lifeway. Try to commit the next five weeks to this challenging series. Study starts at 7 pm.

It's a summer full of Christmas at Salt and Light Baptist Church as we are still collecting each week for Operation Christmas Child. All of June we will collect travel sized tooth paste and tooth brushes for children.

Did you want to participate in the mission trip, but did not sign up? You can still help out. There will be opportunities to donate in the next few weeks. Further announcements are to come.

We have adopted Hwy 22 around the church and almost to Pewee Valley. If you would like to serve with others in this project see Mr. Kulengowski.

Salt and Light Baptist Church has nominated Tom Pigram to be deacon. We will vote on his serving as deacon at our next scheduled business meeting in July.
