A Spirit-Filled Marriage
God’s design for Christian marriage is intended for a man and a woman to enjoy life together as one in the context of a Spirit-filled covenant relationship upon which mutual submission to one another is evident through a husband’s love for his wife and a wife’s respect for her husband. --- Being part of God’s family means that we gain a new identity. In the book of Ephesians, we will explore the true meaning of the gospel, and how our new identity comes from being united with Christ. We will discover who we are in Christ and how we are to live in light of this new identity.

Marriage is best when it’s done God’s way. Ultimately, a Spirit-filled marriage is to reflect Christ’s relationship with the church to the world. In a Spirit-filled marriage, a husband will love his wife as himself, and the wife will see that she respects her husband.
