Learning to trust the love of God in spite of our limited view of circumstances is not something that we can resolve in an instant; it’s something we grow to discover for the whole of our lives.
FAVOR LINE - The invisible line that tells us whether or not we’ve met someone’s expectations to merit their approval.
Trying to live above the perceived Favor Line leads to two unhealthy responses:
1. Self-Pity
2. Comparison

GOD’S FAVOR IS AN ABSOLUTE GIFT, NOT SOMETHING YOU EARN.
In Christ, there is nothing I can do that would make God love me more, and nothing I have done that makes him love me any less.
