What causes us to be afraid and what is the response?
1. We fear what we cannot control
2. We fear the threat of danger
3. Flight is the response to fear
Constructive Fear vs. Destructive Fear
The first response to constructive fear is flight. The first response to destructive fear is withdrawal.
Constructive fear causes you to take action to remove the threat. Destructive fear causes you to ignore and retreat.
Destructive fear distorts reality.
Fear creates a false perception of yourself
Fear creates a false perception of the danger
