The entire book will be covered, but it all starts with an introduction this Sunday. 1 Thessalonians 1:1 & Acts 17:1-9 will set the stage as we begin a deep dive into this powerful book.

Paul, Silas and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace and peace to you. 1 Thessalonians 1:1
What Motivated Paul to be Paul?
Gospel _____– “Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel.” Philippians 1:12
Gospel _____- When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them to. So they passed by Mysia and went down to Troas. Acts 16:7-8
Gospel _____– “As was his custom, Paul went into the synagogue…” Acts 17:2
Gospel _____– “…explaining and proving that the Messiah had to suffer and rise from the dead.” Acts 17:3
Gospel _____- Some of the Jews were persuaded and joined Paul and Silas…But other Jews were jealous.” Acts 17:4 & 5
Gospel _____- We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. 1Thessalonians 1:2

1. If you were to write a letter to someone that you have encouraged in the faith, who would it be?
