4. In verses 10-18 Paul describes just how far all of humanity has turned from God. What are some areas of your personal life, the world at large, and in the Church where you can see/feel the effects of our depravity? Do you recognize any weariness in yourself/the world/the Church as we strive to be “good” on our own?

5. How will you apply this to your life? What are you going to do, be, or think differently because of this truth?

Sin is a hard heart and a stiff neck. Sin is blindness and deafness. It is both the overstepping of a line and the failure to reach it — both transgression and shortcoming.
