I. Our Role on this Planet
I'm not the King, I just sing, yeah
I'm just a fraction of a thing, yeah
I am not anything without the King of Kings, oh yeah

“The Word became flesh…”
The Incarnation.
“The Word became flesh…”
“...made his dwelling among us.”
“...made his dwelling among us.”
“The Word became flesh…”
“...made his dwelling among us.”
“…the glory of the one and only Son.”
“...made his dwelling among us.”
“…the glory of the one and only Son.”
In other words, the most glorious thing about God is not his power, majesty, strength; the most glorious thing about God is how good he is and how gracious and kind and forgiving and faithful he is!
We saw His love, we saw His mercy, we saw His wisdom, we saw His knowledge, we saw His power, we saw His justice, we saw His holiness, we saw His compassion, we saw His omnipotence, we saw His omniscience, we saw His anger, we saw His wrath, we saw His kindness, we saw His patience, we saw it all.
“…full of grace and truth.”
Truth without grace is fundamentalism; grace without truth is sentimentality. Both bring death.

IV. The Power of Grace
“From the complete and superabundance of his grace we all have grace heaped upon grace.”
“There is enough grace in God’s heart of love to save and keep saved for time and eternity every sinner that ever has or ever will live, and then enough left over to save a million more universes full of sinners, were there such, and then some more. There is enough grace available to give every saint constant victory over sin, and then some more. There is enough grace to meet and cope with all the sorrows, heartaches, difficulties, temptations, testings, and trials of human existence, and more added to that.
- Are we full of grace and truth?
- Are we kind, compassionate and tender to a lost and dying world?
- And are we lovingly speaking God’s truth to a lost world that is
desperately grasping onto any philosophical system out there?

“God loves me just the way I am (that’s grace), but He loves me too much to let me stay that way (that’s truth).
