God’s beautiful work of completion is often full of irritants, time, and endurance.

Because we are His, strive for the perfection He modeled acknowledging our lack and need, trusting His completing work.

James 1:2-4 “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”

1. Are you, His slave? What characteristics in your life give evidence
2. Write down in a journal three areas you feel you are “lacking” in your faith or in your maturity in Jesus.
3. Are you prepared for the irritants that God often uses to complete the good work in us?
