Doubt, when acknowledged, spoken, and surrendered to God, can become a doorway into a deeper faith.
Doubt fed and glorified can be a doorway to step away from
faith towards unbelief. Unbelief is the decision to live your life as if there is no God.

A lament is a prayer expressing sorrow, pain, or confusion. Lament should be the way Christians process grief and doubt in God's presence.
Prayer isn't a place to be good, it's a place to be honest.
Do you have faith in God or is your faith in what you desperately want God to do?
Faith is not trying to gather as much hope and “possibilities” in my own mind to reach a certain level where we've qualified to have our desires met.
Faith is not divine currency that we earn by gathering as much hope in our mind to reach a level where we can cash out to receive whatever we ask in prayer.
Sometimes God moves mountains one pebble at a time. We are limited in our scope and viewpoint of time. God sees it all from beginning to end.
