Find Freedom
"I will free you."
Promise of Freedom.
Knowing God —> Salvation is about Quality of life in eternity —> instant
Finding Freedom —> Quality of life on earth. —> a process
Knowing God is is all grace.
Finding Freedom is working out & walking out that grace.
(Philippians 2:12-13 NLT) . . . Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.
You have to let God in.
You also have to let God work in you.
(Matthew 4:4 NLT) But Jesus told him, "No! The Scriptures say, 'People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"
Freedom is found by dealing with our yesterdays.
1. SIN. - Stop going in circles!
(Romans 7:21-22 NIV) So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law;
(Romans 7:24-25 NLT) Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death? Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. . . .
2. Open wounds.
(Ephesians 4:26-27 MSG) Go ahead and be angry. You do well to be angry—but don’t use your anger as fuel for revenge. And don’t stay angry. Don’t go to bed angry. Don’t give the Devil that kind of foothold in your life.
3. Your real ENEMY.
(Ephesians 6:12 NLT) For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
(1 Peter 5:8 NLT) Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

Know God is about changing allegiances.
Finding Freedom is about changing influences.
• Relationships are crucial.
•• Go to God for forgiveness.
(1 John 1:9 NLT) But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.
•• Go to God's people for healing.
(James 5:16 NLT) Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.
1. Invite people in.
(Revelation 12:11 NLT) And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamband by their testimony. ...
2. Invite Jesus in.
(Psalms 26:2-3 NIV) .... examine my heart and my mind; for I have always been mindful of your unfailing love and have lived in reliance on your faithfulness.
