HELP NEEDED FOR A STAGE 4 CANCER PATIENT • A brother in Christ, Kurt Hinterschied, is seeking assistance for himself and his wife, Petra, who has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer.

Kurt and Petra are traveling from their home in Ohio to Seattle on August 7th and will be in the area for her cancer treatments until September 1st.

They need transportation and a place to stay (preferably one level, as Petra has great difficulty climbing stairs).

We welcome your prayers as you consider how you or someone you know may be able to help Kurt and Petra during this difficult time.

There are outlets at the base of most parking lot light standards, so power equipment can be conveniently plugged in (extension cord recommended for broader reach). CCE REFINANCE INVESTMENT • Calvary Chapel Eastside is looking for investors as we prepare to refinance a loan of ~$4.8M this year. One of the main ways we accomplish that is through our own LLC called Solid Ground. This financing vehicle provides up to 4% interest on a five year term, which works especially well with low yield retirement accounts. In effect, investors become part owners of property valued in excess of $16M.

LAKEMONT GARAGE SALE • We are now accepting donations for our annual Lakemont Global Missions Garage Sale on Saturday, September 30th.

Donations may include housewares, clothing, shoes, toys, electronics, tools, etc. Please, no furniture, large appliances, exercise equipment, or children's car seats.

Prefer donations be brought on Sundays, after church, in the designated SE corner of the CCE parking garage.

ECHO GLEN MINISTRY • Please consider joining Pastor Robert on the 2nd Sunday of the month for a 3pm Chapel Service at the Echo Glen Youth Detention Facility in Snoqualmie. This is an opportunity for you to meet and pray for these incarcerated youth during a brief (~40 minute) service.

Please pray for sufficient Echo Glen staff on August 13th, so all may gather together when our team visits and ministers to these young people.
