• To watch is not to run for the hills or to cower in a cave.
• Watching is not exactly the observing and cataloguing of everything resembling a "sign," or attributing the same to a validating scripture. It is just as much internal, a guarding of our soul's condition to assure our readiness to let go—and go—when He comes.
• Watchfulness—carefulness and attentiveness—stands in critical contrast to carelessness.
• Watchfulness is to assure readiness and preparation for eternal joy.
