Sound doctrine leads to practical change which benefits people and brings glory to God.
“Promote the kind of living that reflects right teaching.” (Titus 2:1 NLT)

“Communicate the behavior that goes with sound teaching.” (Titus 2:1 NET)

Whenever the Bible gives us practical Instructions about How to Live: those instructions are always rooted in a response to who God is, and what God has done.
God's commands are "for our good always" (Deuteronomy 6:24)
"Sober-minded" = clearheaded, stable, not a slave to your emotions.
"Dignified" = to act in a way worthy of respect
"Self-Control" = one of the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23)
“Slanderer” is the Greek word Diabolos (Devil)
What would it look like for you to live in such a way that if someone observed your life, it would be hard for them not to believe in Jesus?
What would it look like for you to live as if God is truly sufficient to meet every need that you have?
