2. Sanctification is living meaningful and abundant lives daily by the grace of God.

A. He is more than enough for our struggles. Romans 2:4

B. Extending kindness to those who don’t deserve it.

C. Living to make a difference for Jesus. John 10:10

D. Our response is to be humbled that God wants to use us. James 4:5-10

3. Glorification is being with Jesus forever by his grace.

A. Hebrews 11:13-16

B. John 14:1-6

C. Our response should be anticipation and hope for eternal rewards.

Children's Ministry - No Elementary-age Sunday School in July

During the month of July, there will be no Sunday School for Kindergarten through 5th grade. The Nursery and Preschool classrooms will remain open.

Try Out Life Groups at the Park! Open to All!

This summer, some of the existing Life Groups are hosting evening get-togethers at the park. No commitment needed, just RSVP to get the details and come meet some folks and be encouraged while enjoying Colorado’s great outdoors.

Women's Ministry - Summer Schedule

Hillside women (high school age and up) bring a friend and join us this summer to soak up the longer days! We will meet at 6:30pm on the second and fourth Mondays from June-August. On the second Monday, we will have dessert at Valerie Semich’s house (near church). On the fourth Monday, we will meet at Norman D Park for a hike, walk, or sit on a bench as abilities allow. Buffalo Bill Days Community Worship Service - July 30

Join us at Parfet Park at 9:00am on Sunday, July 30 for the Buffalo Bill Days Community Worship Service. Be sure to bring lawn chairs (there will be no bleachers this year), water, and sunscreen! Please note, we will NOT have a worship service at Hillside that morning! See you at the park!

Salvation Army Back-to-School Shopping Event - August 3

The Golden Salvation Army Extension Unit will be holding its annual Back-to-School Shopping Event this year on Thursday, August 3rd. Students in need are identified through local schools and are given a $100 gift card to shop for new clothes and shoes at the Colorado Mills Target store. They are also given a backpack filled with school supplies. The Extension Unit is hoping to raise enough money to sponsor 70 students, which is what we have been able to do the past few years. We are also looking for volunteers who would like to be chaperones at the event. Chaperones shop with an individual student using a wish list that parents have filled out. Shopping times are 8:00AM and 9:00AM. You can volunteer for one shift or two! If you are interested in sponsoring a child or being a chaperone, please contact Jennifer Wilson at jjwilson1to6@msn.com. Checks may also be made out to the Golden Salvation Army Extension Unit and mailed directly to the attention of Bethany Thomas, 1320 Arapahoe St., Golden, 80401. If you would like more information in person, look for the school supply table at church on July 16th!

New Members Class - August 20

There will be a New Members Class right after the service on Sunday, August 20. If you are considering joining Hillside, this is an important part of the process. You'll learn about the church and have an opportunity to dialogue with church leaders. Please email us if you are interested in participating.

Beth Moore Women's Event - October 6-7

Beth Moore is coming to Denver October 6-7th. She will be teaching in person at Faith Bible Chapel in Arvada. Tickets are $85/person, but if we can gather a group of 10, tickets will be only $70/person. If interested in committing to purchase, please contact Amanda Yates.

Women's Ministry: The Women's Bible study and the Women's TableTop Fellowship will resume meeting in the fall. Informal women's gatherings will be held on the second and fourth Mondays through the summer.

Men's Ministry: The Men's Bible study will resume meeting in the fall. The men's gatherings on the second Thursday of the month will continue through the summer.

Young Adults: The Young Adults group will resume meeting in the fall. Keep an eye on the weekly email for informal gatherings during the summer.

Youth Group: Youth Group meets on Sunday mornings during the service. Check the website for other summer activities.
