The Chosen Bible Study
Expand
We belong to the family of God because Jesus invites us, making the Bible and all its promises as true for us today as it was for God’s chosen nation. Once we belong to Him, we’re not only given a new identity, we’re ushered into a new reality. One that is sure, powerful, and life-changing.

Each week this group will watch an episode from the series “The Chosen” and use the study guide “What Does It Mean to Be Chosen?” to connect participants to the Bible in a brand-new way.

This study includes:
A deeper look at Isaiah 43 and its fulfillment in Jesus and the lives of His followers (including us!)
Script excerpts, quotes, and illustrations from the show
Guiding questions for groups or individuals

Being chosen by Jesus has beautiful and far-reaching implications—although it says even more about the Chooser than the choosees! We are loved because He is love. We are saved because He is merciful. We belong to the family of God because Jesus invites us, making the Bible and all its promises as true for us today as it was for God’s chosen people.

What does it actually mean to be Chosen? To answer that question, we’re going Old school—Testament that is—which leads us back to the New. Which always leads us directly to Jesus!
Women of Wonder - New Session
Expand
Join the Women of Wonder as they follow a Cincinnati businessman Nick Cominsky, and his startling dinner companion; a man who claims to be Jesus. Despite his initial skepticism, as the meal progresses, Nick is amazed by how much this man knows and how deeply he cares about Nick's successful, yet unsatisfying life. Will Nick mark this night up to "strange coincidence" and carry on with his life or will he be eternally changed by this encounter?

What's the relationship between the Great Commandment and the Great Commission?

"Make a Friend, Be a Friend, Bring a Friend to Christ"
Motive is Everything!

Our motive in becoming a good neighbor is to obey the Great Commandment, to love them with no strings attached.
As those friendships with our neighbors develop, the Holy Spirit will give us opportunities to share our faith story so that He can use us to make disciples of them.
Motive is Everything!

We don't love our neighbors so that they will love Jesus. We love them because we love Jesus and He gave us the Great Commandment.

But, God can use that friendship developed by love to bring them to faith and accomplish the Great Commission.
