1. Jesus did the right thing at the right time
· “When he was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, ‘The kingdom of God is not coming with something observable; no one will say, ‘See here!’ or ‘There!’ For you see, the kingdom of God is in your midst.” Luke 17:2—21
· “I do not seek my own will, but the will of him who sent me.” John 5:30

2. The leper did the right thing at the wrong time

“The leper acted consistent with human nature. The prohibition against telling what had happened to him made him all the more anxious to proclaim it everywhere. This resulted in a curtailment of Jesus’ public ministry. He avoided going into the towns and chose rather to stay in more isolated places. But even in his isolation, people managed to find him and “came to home everywhere.” - Walter Wessel.
