We would like to continue the practice of covering the housing costs for our Global Outreach staff while they are staying with us. While they are on furlough, they continue to pay rent on their home overseas. By covering their utility costs while they are with us, we help to alleviate some of the financial stress. Additionally, the houses are starting to show their age and are in need of some upkeep including painting, heating and cooling and plumbing issues.

The Jesus Film has a long history of bringing the gospel to the unreached. Film brings the story to life in ways that transcend written communication. This is true especially in oral cultures—places where written communication is scarce. When people see the life of Jesus portrayed on screen, it is life-changing. Even in societies where the written word is prevalent, films are the cultural flashpoints.

We are looking forward to again partner with ELAM Ministries in providing Bibles and NT to Farsi speaking people in Iran and nearby countries. Good Shepherd has participated in this vital ministry of Scripture distribution in the region since 2013.

Project Send helps to send staff on member care trips to visit GO Staff and ministries and to send individuals from our body around the world for short-term ministry.
