Generosity Patterns
GENEROSITY is the willingness to give or share whatever you possess with others.
GENEROSITY is a MINDSET that determines how we behave towards other people.
Those with a Scarcity Mindset believe that resources are limited
The opposite of that is an Abundance Mindset, which believes there are enough resources for everyone.
A PATTERN OF GENEROSITY is a Mindset and Practice that must be instilled in our Families.
1. WHY WE NEED TO TEACH OUR FAMILIES GENEROSITY
1. Because Generosity Reminds Us of the Grace of God in Our Lives.
God understands that our heart is connected to our hand.
2. Because Generosity Frees Us from Selfishness and Materialism.
3. Because Generosity Makes Us a Blessing to Our Fellow Man.
4. Because Generosity Stretches our Faith and Trust in God.
in verses 9-10 He tells them…
“Do not be mean-spirited and refuse someone a loan because the year for canceling debts is close at hand. If you refuse to make the loan and the needy person cries out to ME, you will be considered guilty of sin.10 Give generously to the poor, not grudgingly, for the Lord your God will bless you in everything you do.”

5. Because Generosity Makes Us More Like God.
6. Because Generosity Deepens Our Relationships.
Generosity draws you toward whoever or whatever you’re giving to.
7. Because When We’re Generous We Get Blessed.
2. WHAT DOES GOD WANT US TO BE GENEROUS WITH?
1. Be Generous with Truth.
2. Be Generous with Our Resources (v.28).
3. Be Generous with Kindness and Encouragement (v.29-30).
