Our small groups are a great way to do this. We have groups for all ages and stages of life. They meet at different days and times to help provide an opportunity that can fit your schedule.

May 14th - Child Dedication
On Sunday, May 14th, we will be having a baby/child dedication during both of our services (9:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.). This is a great opportunity to publicly declare your commitment to raising your child to become a Christ follower. Sign up at HitTheRiver.com/events
May 21st - River Rumble Cruise-In
This is for people who like cars. No requirements. If it has an engine and wheels, it's welcome. You don't need to have a cool car or any car at all. If you just like to look at cars and hang out with other auto enthusiasts, this is for you too. This event is for anyone! Bring a lunch and enjoy the cars while talking and meeting new people. The first car event will take place on Sunday, May 21 at 12:30 p.m, weather permitting. Chuck & Mary Richardson will be leading this affinity group. May 31 - June 2 - EntreLeadership Summit
Dave Ramsey’s EntreLeadership Summit is coming to The River Church! We are live-streaming the event for you, your business colleagues, and friends to attend. This is designed for business leaders, managers, business owners, and any wanting to grow in leadership. Speakers include: Dave Ramsey, Dr. Jordan Peterson, Willie Robertson, Alison Levine, and more! The cost is only $25 per person for all three days and includes snacks, refreshments, and 60 days of replay access.
June 2nd - Ladies Summer Backyard Bible Study
Join us for a 6-week study as we start the book of Psalms. This study will begin Friday, June 2nd and meet weekly on Friday’s from 1:00-3:00 outdoors here at The River. There is a book that goes along with this study and the cost for the book is $5. Please contact Margaret Layman with any questions by emailing Margaret.s.layman@gmail.com
June 4th - Graduation Sunday
On June 4 during the 9:30 Worship Service, high school graduates will be recognized and prayed over as they enter the next exciting chapter of their lives! If you would like your graduating senior recognized, please email taylor@hittheriver.com with a photo of your child, where they are graduating from, and what their plans are for this fall. Taylor Henry will be in touch with more details closer to the date.
July 17th - 21st - Vacation Bible School "Twists & Turns"
2023's Vacation Bible School is coming to The River Church! VBS is July 17 - 21 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.! All potty-trained 3-year-olds - 5th graders are invited to join us for an exciting week of learning about how following Jesus changes the game!
