Have you ever been in an uncomfortable situation? I am sure that the answer is yes to that. Now, have you ever been in an uncomfortable situation that you put yourself in for the good of another? That might be a little harder to answer. This week we will see a mother put herself in a position that was a little uncomfortable to help her daughter who was in desperate need. Through it we will see the mercy and grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus.

In Christ,
Pastor Brad Albin
NOMINATIONS
Elders
Paul Davis III
I have been a member of ECBC for 30 years. During that time I have served in a variety of roles including teaching and leading the College and Career Group, teaching various Connect Groups, serving on the Enabling Team, and serving as an Elder previously. My wife Beth and I have two adult children, Joshua and Allison.

Jonathan Whitiker
I was saved when I was 11 years old. As an adult, God called me into lay ministry, first as a small group leader, and then as an ordained Elder and Pastor at Element Christian Church in Santa Maria, California. My career with the U.S. Air Force took me and my family to England, where I became the Elder and Pastor of a small community of American believers on base. From that training ground, God called me to plant a gospel-centered community church that met in my basement in Colorado Springs, Colorado. From Colorado, the U.S. Space Force sent me to Tucson, where I am now serving on the Worship Team at El Camino. I hold God’s Word as supreme, believe all believers are called to make disciples, and have a heart for preaching and for training lay leaders to plant gospel-centered communities wherever God places them. I have been married to Jennifer for nearly 21 years and we have three daughters, Lauren, Holly, and Olivia.

Phil Roberts (second term)
My wife Amy and I have been members of El Camino for 29 years, which is the same amount of time we’ve been married. We have two children, and 2 toddler granddaughters. At El Camino, I have served as a Deacon, an Elder, and participant on the most recent Vision Committee. I am the director of a Christian campground and cattle ranch in Chihuahua, Mexico. The ministry with which I’m involved desires to help families, schools, and churches be intentional about helping children develop a biblical worldview. I like to hike.
