Mexico House Build Report

Elder Mike Wilcox is the current chair of StoneBridge's Global Missions Team. Having traveled to Ensenada on this trip, he's written a great report summarizing all the events of the March 10 - 12 weekend.

Mexico Trip Video Recap

Hugo Ministries does a wonderful job documenting the work visiting churches do each and every time they serve. Hugo Ministries then quickly produces a video recap. This video shows our StoneBridge team building with Southwest Church and the families who received the homes.

1. Learn more about StoneBridge’s partner ministries by visiting the links above.

2. Pray for and thank God for Hands of Mercy Loft-House ministry, Hugo Ministries, and the many volunteers from the many churches who are working in a unified way to serve some of the most economically challenged communities around Ensenada and successfully transforming lives.

3. Pray how you might be more involved this coming year in StoneBridge’s loft-house build - giving financially, donating supplies, serving and/or going.

1. For those who attended The Staged Reading of the Gospel of Mark on Saturday night, how did hearing (vs reading) Mark from beginning to end influence your understanding of the apostle’s gospel? After experiencing Mark’s gospel in this way, what’s one take away you have?

2. Ezekiel 37:1-14 is tied to the historical context of the Babylonian captivity and yet, is also very much a resurrection scripture. How might this Biblical text influence your understanding of Jesus’ resurrection and it meaning to you? Put another way, like the stories told in past Sunday’s worship, how might your personal faith journey be likened to deliverance from captivity and new life?

3. Have you experienced the power of Jesus’ resurrection within a transformed community? What did that look like? How does that influence your sense of hope, today? What communities do you desire God to bring new life to?
