Thanks for partnering with us in our mission to share the hope of Jesus, to make disciples, and to send them out. Secure online giving via PayPal.

On Easter, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. This the central belief of Christian faith and it is the foundation of our hope. Jesus was raised from the dead and because he was raised from the dead, we trust we will be raised from the dead, also. Death was overcome in the resurrection! He is risen, he is risen indeed!

The Text In Context

"The primary objective of this (commentary) is... to evaluate (1) William Farmer’s argument for (Mark's) longer ending, (2) possible explanations for the abrupt ending, and (3) several literary proposals for Mark’s conclusion." To read more, click link.

I. The Ending - Fear

II. What is Jesus up to?

III. Resurrection

IV. Go to Galilee

1) Celebrate!

2) Seriously. Celebrate!

1) Why do you think the women were afraid at the end of the Gospel of Mark?

2) What do you think you would feel in that moment?

3) What makes you afraid today?

4) What do you think Jesus is doing in the midst of your fears?

5) The women were told that Jesus would be waiting for the disciples in Galilee. Where do you think Jesus might be waiting for you now? Where, or to whom, is Jesus calling you?

6) How did you celebrate the resurrection of Jesus this Easter?
