Jesus Has Risen!!
Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” – Luke 23:34

It was because of Jesus’ Passion and love for us that He asked God the Father to forgive those who were crucifying Him. What Love! What Passion!

“Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” – Luke 23:43
Jesus spoke for the 4th time, and He spoke in Aramaic - “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”) – Matthew 27:46

Jesus experienced greater spiritual anguish and pain being separated from God than He did physical pain.

We may experience physical pain in this world, but nothing is worse than being separated from God. Because Jesus took our sins on Himself, if we put our trust and faith in Him for Salvation, we never will have to face separation from God for eternity.
“I am thirsty.” – John 19:28
Jesus was on the cross for a purpose and for God’s will and plan. Now that the penalty for sin had been paid in full, Jesus, not anyone else, but Jesus Himself decided, “It is Finished!”
Jesus’ death was so powerful there were at least 3 miracles seen – a great earthquake occurred, graves opened up and dead people came back to life and were seen around Jerusalem, and the temple veil in the Holy of Holies was torn from top to bottom representing that we had open access to God now through Jesus.

It was Friday, but Sunday was coming!
Praise God! Jesus is Risen! He is Alive!!

Are you looking for Jesus today?

Let His life, death, burial, and resurrection speak to you today.

Let His last 7 phrases from the cross speak to you.

Let His Passion be seen and change your life like He has changed so many lives over the last 2000 years.

What are we to do with what we know? First, put our trust and faith in Him for our daily life and eternal life. Second, do just what the angel told the women at the empty tomb…Go and Tell Others!!
