Genesis 8:1-14
But God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the cattle that were with him in the ark; and God caused a wind to pass over the
earth, and the water subsided. Also the fountains of the deep and the floodgates of the sky were closed, and the rain from the sky was
restrained; and the water receded steadily from the earth, and at the end of one hundred and fifty days the water decreased. In the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, the ark rested upon the mountains of Ararat. The water decreased steadily until the tenth month; in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains became visible. Then it came about at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made; and he sent out a raven, and it flew here and there until the water was dried up from the earth. Then he sent out a dove from him, to see if the water was abated from the face of the
land; but the dove found no resting place for the sole of her foot, so she returned to him into the ark, for the water was on the surface of all the earth. Then he put out his hand and took her, and brought her into the ark to himself. So he waited yet another seven days; and again he sent out the dove from the ark. The dove came to him toward evening, and behold, in her beak was a freshly picked olive leaf. So Noah knew that the water was abated from the earth. Then he waited yet another seven days, and sent out the dove; but she did not return to him again. Now it came about in the six hundred and first year, in the first month, on the first of the month, the water was dried up from the earth. Then Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and behold, the surface of the ground was dried up. In the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dry.

God Remembered

But God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the cattle that were with him in the ark…v. 1
Sometimes the wait is long, but God will always remember you.
God Caused

…and God caused a wind to pass over the earth, and the water subsided. v. 1
Genesis 8:2-3
Also the fountains of the deep and the floodgates of the sky were closed, and the rain from the sky was restrained; and the water receded steadily from the earth.
Psalm 104:6-8
You covered it with the deep as with a garment; the waters were standing above the mountains. At Your rebuke they fled, at the sound
of Your thunder they hurried away. The mountains rose; the valleys sank down to the place which You established for them.
2 Peter 3:4-6
“Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation.” For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water.
John 3:12
If I told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?
Luke 16:31
“If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.”
God Spoke

Genesis 8:15-16
Then God spoke to Noah, saying, “Go out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and your sons’ wives with you.
Genesis 8:20
Then Noah built an altar to the Lord, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
The Lord smelled the soothing aroma…v. 21
The first priority of our life is always to listen to God and worship God.
Matthew 6:33
But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
God Promised

Genesis 8:21
…and the Lord said to Himself, “I will never again curse the ground on account of man… I will never again destroy every living thing, as I have done.
Genesis 6:8
But Noah found favor (grace) in the eyes of the Lord.
Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Genesis 8:22
“While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”
