Do you believe that you have a marriage or relationship worth duplicating and passing along?
3 Essentials:
------------
1. Discover and Build on God’s Plan for Marriage
2. Grow in Relationship with Christ
3. Grow in Relationship with each other
1) We must pursue US.
------------
The destroyer of pursuing us is busyness.
Chemistry will wear off and character kicks in.

To Pursue US
------------
- Intentional about doing life around your marriage.
- Personal Responsibility - The Best Me Makes the Best Us.
- Pursue Jesus Together - Worship, Pray and Tithe together
- Pursue Meaningful Connection - Daily delay, Weekly withdrawl, Annual getaway
2) We must pursue communication.
------------
The destroyer of communication is unresolved anger and conflict.

- The Heart and Soul of a vibrant connection is Communication.
- Aim For 20 minutes a day of meaningful conversations-Face to Face, Text, Phone and does not need to be all at once.
How we respond to conflict will make or break us.

Human Reaction:
------------
- Escalation
- Withdrawal/ Isolate
- Negative Beliefs
- Belittling

God’s Response:
------------
- Love Is Patient
- Love Endures all Things
- Love Hopes all things
- Love Is Kind
3) We must pursue home.
------------
The destroyer of home is misunderstanding expectations.

- A beautiful love involves both people actively pursuing the responsibilities of the home.
- Know your strengths and delegate.
- Function as a team.
4) We must pursue commitment.
------------
The destroyer of commitment is selfishness.

Loving our spouse starts with Loving God. When we understand his unwavering love for us we can reflect the same love and commitment to our spouse.
“No Love of the natural heart is safe unless the heart has been satisfied by God first. The tragedies of human lives can only be solved by an understanding of the one great fundamental truth that Jesus Christ alone can satisfy the last aching abyss of the human heart.”

- Oswald Chambers
