This Sunday Rod Entwistle will be bringing us the message on living by faith and not by sight, from 2 Corinthians 4:18 and 5:7. That God-inspired writer “didn’t have time to tell” (11:32) the story of all of the faithful men and women of Israel’s history – even David was ‘bumped’! David - poet, songwriter, musician, warrior, leader, God-fearing king – learned many truths during his action-packed life. This Sunday we’ll look at how all of this fed into David’s Psalm 11 and how he can conclude that, no matter what, “… the upright will see his [YHWH] face.”
