“Four Crazy Friends!”

The way to win in life is to CONNECT MORE.

While it’s TRUE that we ALL need CONNECTION, it’s important to understand that the LEVEL OF CONNECTION each person needs varies according to their personality.

First, God CREATED us for Connection/Community.


Second, the QUALITY of our CONNECTION with others will determine the OUTCOME of our lives.


Third, we can do MORE TOGETHER than we can individually.

It’s possible to know God, and not be CONNECTED to others.

We all need wild, passionate, extreme people in our lives who will love and care for us, invest in us, motivate us to grow and be better, and be with us IN the storms of life.

Every one of us have the need to be loved, affirmed, listened to, encouraged, and touched.

The Paralytic was a lucky man because he had FOUR CRAZY FRIENDS who helped meet his RELATIONAL NEEDS.

Bernard Meltzer said, “A true friend is someone who thinks that you’re a good egg even though he knows you’re slightly cracked.”

When we get CONNECTED to others in community, God shows up! His presence dwells in the midst of our CONNECTIONS.

Community was God’s plan to help meet our basic needs.

CONNECTING in COMMUNITY was designed by God to be a NECESSARY part of EVERY believer’s life because difficulty and tragedy is common to all of us.

Anna Deavere Smith said, “Friendship is a wildly underrated medication to help us in times of need.”

TRANSFORMATION takes place in the context of CONNECTION AND RELATIONSHIP.

We’ll never experience the transformation, growth, and help we need in life until we’re willing to take the risk to CONNECT MORE!

There is a high cost to hiding and not developing a CONNECTION with others.

Spiritual growth happens best when we’re in relationship with others who can ask us the tough questions, encourage us when we’re drifting, and speak truth into our lives.

When WE are CONNECTED IN COMMUNITY the gates of hell will not be able to prevail against us!

Your CONNECTIONS will determine the outcome of your life.

Your RELATIONAL CONNECTIONS are Doorways for what God wants to do IN, THROUGH, AND FOR YOU!
