December 25th - Christmas Day Online Service
Although our building will be closed on Christmas Day, we will still have a prerecorded online option for you and your family to watch whenever you’re ready! Join us at HitTheRiver.com, Facebook.com/HitTheRiver, or YouTube.com/HitTheRiver for a special Christmas Sunday morning service in your home.

January 1st - One service at 10:00 am
On Sunday, January 1st we will only be having one service at 10:00 am. River Kids will be available for all ages up to 5th grade. Services will still be streamed online on our website, Facebook, and Youtube.

January 1st - 21st - Daniel Fast
On January 1st our church will be engaging in our annual 21 day “Daniel Fast.” Grab an information packet in the foyer, or email Info@hittheriver.com to receive the pdf version. This is a significant way for you to grow spiritually and turbocharge your prayers!

The church offices will be closed the week of December 26th and will reopen on January 3rd.

January 3rd - “un-Deck” the Halls
Thank you to all who came and helped us Deck our Halls in November! We are going to take down our Christmas decorations on January 3rd starting at 9 am. If you are able and interested in helping feel free to join us that morning.

January 11th - Next Joy Group Meeting
This is a group of active middle agers and senior adults, singles or couples, who gather monthly to enjoy their God-given life through Christian fellowship, education, and occasional activities of service to our church and community. They will meet here at The River from 1:00 - 2:30 pm. Dessert, Coffee, Tea, and water will be served. This is open to all River attenders and their friends, family, and community members in the surrounding area. Contact Doug & Debbie Pierson if you are interested, their number is 607-793-0118.


January 13th - 14th - River Youth at Winterchill 2023
The River youth group is going to Winterchill at Perfect North followed by a lock-in at Dayspring Church. They will enjoy snow-tubing, pizza, games, movies & breakfast. The group will depart from The River Church at 7:30 pm on the 13th and arrive back around 8:30 am on the 14th. The cost is $30 and that includes the cost for tubing and food when we get back to Dayspring. Go to HitTheRiver.com to register!
