MATEO 2:1-12 (ANG BIBLIA)
1 Niadtong tungora sa natawo na si Jesus didto sa Betlehem sa Judea sa panahon ni Herodes nga hari, dihay mga mago gikan sa Sidlakan nga miabot sa Jerusalem, ug nangutana, 2 “Hain man ang gipanganak nga hari sa mga Judio? Kay nakita namo ang iyang bituon didto sa Sidlakan ug nanganhi kami aron sa pagsimba kaniya.” 3 Sa pagkadungog niini ni Herodes nga hari, nahasol siya ug ang tibuok Jerusalem uban kaniya. 4 Ug sa natigom niya ang tanang pangulong pari ug mga eskriba sa katawhan, nangutana siya kanila kon diin ipanganak ang Cristo. 5 Ug sila miingon kaniya, “Sa Betlehem sa Judea, kay mao man kini ang nasulat pinaagi sa propeta:
6 ‘Ug ikaw, O Betlehem, sa yuta sa Juda,
sa pagkatinuod dili maoy labing ubos sa mga prinsipe sa Juda;
kay anha kanimo maggikan ang usa ka pangulo
nga mao ang magbantay sa akong katawhan, ang Israel.’ ”
7 Unya sa tago gipatawag ni Herodes ang mga mago, ug siya nagpakisusi pag-ayo kanila sa tukmang panahon nga mipakita ang bituon. 8 Ug gipaadto niya sila sa Betlehem nga nag-ingon, “Adtoa ug pangitaa ninyo pag-ayo ang bata ug sa dihang makit-an na ninyo siya, balitai ako ninyo aron moadto usab ako sa pagsimba kaniya.” 9 Sa napaminaw na nila ang hari, nanglakaw sila, ug nakita nila ang bituon nga ilang nakita didto sa Sidlakan, nag-una kanila hangtod nga miabot kini ug mihunong ibabaw sa nahimutangan sa bata. 10 Sa pagkakita nila sa bituon, nangalipay gayod sila pag-ayo. 11 Sa pagsulod na nila sa balay, ilang nakita ang bata uban kang Maria nga iyang inahan, ug sila miluhod ug misimba sa bata. Ug sa naukban na nila ang ilang mga bahandi, ilang gihalaran siya ug mga gasa: bulawan ug insenso ug mira. 12 Ug sa napahimangnoan na sila pinaagi sa damgo sa dili pagbalik kang Herodes, mibalik sila agi sa laing dalan ngadto sa ilang kaugalingong yuta

Ug sa naukban na nila ang ilang mga bahandi, ilang gihalaran siya ug mga gasa: bulawan ug insenso ug mira. 12 Ug sa napahimangnoan na sila pinaagi sa damgo sa dili pagbalik kang Herodes, mibalik sila agi sa laing dalan ngadto sa ilang kaugalingong yuta

The recent typhoon brought about a devastating aftermath. The lack of drinking water, electricity, fuel, and broken-down homes brought us out of our comfort zones. Still, we are grateful for the Lord's protection, provision, and His strength for such a time as this. Many of our fellow brethren need our prayers and help after Typhoon Odette destroyed their homes and our communities.
In line with this, if the Lord stirs your heart, you can send in your cash donations to our LWNRA Benevolent Fund. For those who would like to give cash or in-kind gifts, you may drop them at the Living Word NRA Center, 2F Northgate Centre, Banilad, Cebu City. Priority needs include food, drinking water, fuel, hygiene kits, and medical supplies.
Giving in cash is preferred as it gives us more flexibility/leverage in using it to purchase items in bulk for discounts or in giving cash for specific special needs. It is also safer because of minimal mobility and personal handling. However, for those who are unable to come to the office, you may also send them through our account at:
