Eight hundred years before the birth of Jesus, Isaiah prophecies that he would come and about what kind of gift from God he would be.
Peace can be broken down into three categories.
- External
- Internal
- Spiritual
- External

External - is the absence of war. It can be national as well as relational. Are you at peace with your spouse, kids, family or friends?
Internal - well being that comes from God
- Security
- Health
- Freedom from care
- Contentment
- Security
- Health
- Freedom from care
- Contentment
Finally, it is spiritual. Is your soul at peace?
No fewer than six times in New Testament God is called “the God of peace.” When God’s Spirit brings his harvest in our hearts, love and joy is followed by peace.
We must walk into and take hold of the peace that God offers before we will ever experience it.
