I. Trapped in the present. (Luke 21:25-26)

2 Timothy 4:9-10 (NKJV) Be diligent to come to me quickly;

Hebrews 13:14 (NLT2) For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come.

II. Peace in the present. (1 Corinthians 1:27)

A. Peace guides our decisions.

Colossians 3:15 (NIV) Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts…

B. Peace controls our feelings.(Philippians 4:6-7)

C. Peace identifies our leader. (Luke 10:5-6)

Matthew 5:9 (CEV) God blesses those people who make peace. They will be called his children!

III. Steps in the present.

A. Submit to God.(Isaiah 9:6-7)
B. Transfer to God. (1 Peter 5:6-7)
C. Depend on God.(John 14:27)
D. Worship God.(Isaiah 61:1-5)

Psalm 22:3 (Para) You are holy and You rule from the throne of praises created by the worship of your people. That is the place you live and reside.
