WOMEN'S EVENT
On Saturday, December 17 from 2pm - 4pm, the ladies of the church are having a COOKIE & ORNAMENT EXCHANGE! To exchange cookies: Bake 6 dozen of your favorite cookies. Bring the bagged cookies and a clearly printed copy of your recipe ingredients. New recipes will be shared with each other. To exchange ornaments: Bring a wrapped ornament for a gift exchange. After drawing numbers, each person can either pick a gift to unwrap and keep or swap for another.
Music Sunday
We're excited to have The Delaware Hayes H.S. Choir come sing a few holiday songs for us on December 18th! Also, our very own "Joyful Sounds" Bell Choir will be performing as well! Bring your friends and family to celebrate with us during this joyous season!
FAMILY PROMISE
Our week of Family Promise is Dec. 25-30.
Sandy will be in the lobby on Dec. 18 to sign people up for food, meals, or a cash donation.What a perfect time of the year to help those in need during the Holidays!

SCRIP is fundraising while you shop. You can help those in need by purchasing gift cards through our Church's SCRIP program. For more information or if you need help signing up, contact the church office and let us know.

MESSAGE NOTES – December 11, 2022
“All right then, the Lord himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God is with us’).” – Isaiah 7:14 (NLT)
WHAT HAPPENS BECAUSE ‘GOD IS WITH US’?
WE HAVE UNITY WITH GOD
“God has united you with Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made him to be wisdom itself. Christ made us right with God; he made us pure and holy, and he freed us from sin.” – 1 Corinthians 1:30 (NLT)
WE HAVE COMFORT
“For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ.” – 2 Corinthians 1:5 (NLT)
WE HAVE BELIEF
“It is God who enables us, along with you, to stand firm for Christ. He has commissioned us, and he has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment that guarantees everything he has promised us.” – 2 Corinthians 1:21-22 (NLT)
HOW CAN WE LIVE LIKE JESUS THIS CHRISTMAS?
1) LIVE FOR GOD
“But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law. God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children.” – Galatians 4:4-5 (NLT)
2) LIVE IN GOD
“And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, ‘Abba, Father.’” – Galatians 4:6 (NLT)
3) LIVE RECEIVING FROM GOD
“Now you are no longer a slave but God’s own child. And since you are his child, God has made you his heir.” – Galatians 4:7 (NLT)
