Have you ever lost something precious to you?
What if someone you know seems lost?
What if someone you know seems lost?
Matthew 18:11 --- Where is verse 11?
For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost.
For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost.
Step 1:
Stop everything and find the one who is missing
Stop everything and find the one who is missing
Step 2:
Continue looking and don't give up
Continue looking and don't give up
God never gives up on people and neither should we
What if someone you know seems lost?
* Pray for them patiently
* Love them sincerely without expectation
* Don't try to fix them
* Provide them a safe place to return
* Keep their confidence

Keep the conversation going this week!
Here are some discussion questions for you to use from today's message.
Week 2: Restoration
1) Who is someone you need to go back to, or a relationship you need to revisit? (Someone hurting, a broken relationship, someone who is wandering away)
2) Read Matthew 18:12-14. We established in Week 1 that humility is a big part of how we ought to approach people. How would a humble approach help us pursue someone who has walked away?
3) Discuss examples of how you could re-establish a broken relationship without casting judgment for the role you feel the other person played in breaking the relationship.
4) Who are you shepherding? Matthew 18 puts every believer in the role of a shepherd. Who are the people that are in your care? What have you done to maintain those relationships and shepherd well? Who is the one you might need to leave the ninety-nine for?
5) Spend some time praying for the humility that will be needed to own your role in any broken relationships. Pray that God will help you not to judge that person for walking away, but instead pursue them and seek restoration of the relationship.
