Decide your family is WORTH THE FIGHT.

(Nehemiah 4:14 NIV) After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, "Don't be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes."

Your BEHAVIOR is more important than your ADVICE.
1. Prioritize GOD and CHURCH
(let God talk to you before the world does)

(Matthew 6:33 NIV) But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Prioritize GOD and CHURCH

(James 5:16 NIV) …The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
3. Watch your WORDS.

(Proverbs 18:21 NIV) The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit
Teach them about VALUE:

If they don’t know their value, they will accept too low a price.
*Their value to God

(Ephesians 2:10 NLT) For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

*Their value to you

*Other people’s value

2. Teach them the BIG PICTURE.

*This life vs. Eternity
3. Teach them about LISTENING.

*You need to listen to them.

*They need to listen to you.

The need to listen God.
(Psalm 78:4, 6-7 NLT) We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the LORD, about his power and his mighty wonders

6 so the next generation might know them--even the children not yet born--and they in turn will teach their own children.
7 So each generation should set its hope anew on God, not forgetting his glorious miracles and obeying his commands
(Deuteronomy 6:7 NLT) Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.
They Belong To God.

(2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV) But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
