November 6th - Honoring our Veterans
We will be honoring all of our veterans during both services on Sunday, November 6th.
November 6th - Couples Study during 2nd Service
Couples of all ages are invited to join us for the last session next Sunday in the youth room at 11:00! There is no registration required for this class. River Kids will be available.
November 6th - Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes due back
Visit the table by the fireplace in between services to pick up your boxes! Our Missions team will be covering the cost of shipping for all of our boxes. Boxes due November 6th.
November 9th - Joy Group Meeting - Just Older Youth
The JOY group is for anyone retired or nearly retired. We meet at 1:00 p.m. in The River’s Cafe. If you are able to attend or want more information, please call Debbie & Doug Pierson at 607-793-0118.
November 11th - River Couple’s Night
Our River Couples Event is Friday, Nov. 11th from 7 - 9 PM. This will be a lot of fun and involve gameshow-style competitions with audience participation and prizes. The evening will also include dessert, fellowship, and time to celebrate your marriage. This is a fun event to bring friends that don't attend the River or are new or not connected yet. There is no cost but couples need to sign up by going to hitthetheriver.com/events. Email leslie@HitTheRiver.com with any questions.
November 21st - Deck the Halls
Join the church staff to help decorate the church for the holiday season! All are welcome to come we will have hot cocoa, snacks, and lunch will be served. Decorating will begin at 9 a.m.
