When you get into the presence of God, it’s so easy to hear Him. When you begin to hear & obey God, everything begins to change!

Obey = shama (shaw-mah') to hear

Obedience = hypakoḗ (from /akoúō, "to hear" and /hypó, "beneath") – i.e., obedience – literally, "submission to what is heard".

Most people’s greatest fear is failure…
You can’t fail while obeying God!

Imagine what your life/family/future looks like with all your obedience!

When they weren’t close to God, it became harder to obey!

Jesus modeled obedience.

Obedience pleases the Lord.

Obedience is an adventure.

Obedience expands territory.

We teach obedience to children.

Obedience is spiritual warfare.

Obedience is rewarded.

Obedience reveals the heart.

Your love for God is displayed by your obedience!

If we love God, we obey Him.

Biblically… When you see love, you see heart.

Biblically, when you see heart, you see money.

If you don’t obey God with your money, you will struggle with obedience in everything!

There are 2400 scriptures on money, wealth, or stewarding possessions!

There are approximately 500 verses on faith & 500 verses on prayer in the Bible.

WARNING… Some people think they’re obedient, but they’re NOT!

Obedience begins with the tithe!

Tithe: “A tenth part or tenth”
In Biblical numerics, the number tenth means “testimony or test; law or responsibility”.

Offerings are all gifts above the tithe!

The tithe goes to the Church.

The tithe is for the work of the Church, to advance the gospel and minister to the congregation!

What do we do with the money?
-We hear God and obey.

How do you trust your church with your soul, but not your money?

The reason you can’t afford to tithe is because you honored a bill before you honored God!

You can always afford to tithe when you put God first!

WARNING… Withholding the tithe is robbing God & it’s sin!

The curse of not tithing is losing the favor of God!

How do you ask God to bless you when you steal from Him?

If you can steal from God, you can easily betray God!
