Mark your calendar for Wednesday, October 5 at 5:30pm for our next Wednesday Night Meal. The menu for the evening is breakfast for dinner. There will be bacon, scrambled eggs, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, hash brown casserole, and juice. Please sign up on the bulletin board so we have an idea of the number attending. Suggested donation of $3 per person and no more than $10 per family. Feel free to invite friends and family.

Volunteers are needed for our Fall Festival which will be held here at Goshen. The event will take place from 2pm-4pm on Saturday, October 15. Volunteers are needed to help set up for the event, run the activities, and clean up afterward. If you can help, please sign up on the main bulletin board or contact the church office. This is a great opportunity for us to reach out to the community with the love of Jesus.

Goshen's Children and Youth ministries are partnering together for an afternoon of fun at Belvedere Plantation. Join us after church on Sunday, October 23 for this family event. We have a campfire site reserved and will provide hotdogs and marshmallows for roasting. Tickets are $10 per person over 2 years old. Please sign up by using the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board so we have an accurate count of who is attending. All students and families are invited.

Students in middle and high school are invited to join us in the fellowship hall on Friday, October 28 from 5pm-10pm for a Mystery Dinner Theatre party. Costumes are welcomed and encouraged, as well as your best seasonal-themed appetizer or dessert. We will also be carving pumpkins. Prizes will be given for the best costume, dish, and pumpkin. This event is free, but please sign up using the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board to let us know you're coming.

Goshen will be participating in the annual Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office Trunk & Treat event on October 29 from 6pm-8pm at the Public Safety Building. It is free for kids to attend and there will be a lot of candy. Goshen will be handing out candy at the event and would greatly appreciate donations of candy, or money to purchase candy. Candy donations can be placed in the fellowship hall and monetary donations can be placed in the offering plate on Sunday. Please make sure to designate all monetary donations with Candy on the memo line or on the envelope.
