Genesis 1:9-13... (English Standard Version)
9 And God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so. 10 God called the dry land Earth, and the waters that were gathered together He called Seas. And God saw that it was good. 11 And God said, “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth.” And it was so. 12 The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening and there was morning, the third day.

1. As Creator, God is Omniscient.

To create life, He also had to ensure He was able to sustain life.

2. In His omniscience – He is a God of specific order and not a creator of chaos.
In this creation account...
v.12...The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind.
- Plants were made with seeds inside them and the vegetation began to sprout.
- Fruit trees yielded fruit.
- All were seed bearing and propagated all of the plants/trees we have today.
He set all of it in motion for the future.

If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! 9 If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, 10 even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me. 11 If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night,” 12 even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you.
Because He knew God knew and cared, David gave Him full access.
Psalm 119: 23-24...
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! 24 And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!
Because He loves us, we can trust Him.
Psalm 55:22...
Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you; He will never permit the righteous to be moved.
Paul knew it.
Philippians 4:6-7...
6 ...do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
David knew God cared.
