YOUTH MINISTRIES BACK TO SCHOOL PIZZA PARTY • CCE Youth Ministries is hosting a Back To School Pizza Party. Join us on Wednesday, August 31st, 7pm, in the Chapel, Room 206.

Pastor Robert and Kim Case will kick off the new season with a pizza dinner, prayer, worship, and a time of fellowship as we talk about new beginnings in the Bible and in our lives.

NIGHT TO SHINE • All those interested in helping with our annual ministry to the special needs individuals in our community next March are invited to a brief information meeting on Sunday, September 11th. Please come to the Chapel at 11:45am, where Kirsten Richardson will discuss our options for 2023.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY | CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS • Our Children’s Ministry is seeking volunteers for all of our programs: Newborn to 3 Years in the Nursery (Room 101); 4 to 7 Years (Room 103); and 8 to 11 Years (Room 102).

Kids ages 4-11 begin at 10am in Room 103 for praise and worship.

Can you join the children as they journey with Jesus this year? We are currently seeking teachers and helpers on Sunday mornings across our three age groups: Babies & Tots (0-3); Younger Kids (4-7); and Older Kids (8-11).

We are also seeking a qualified Special Needs Assistant.

AWANA • Registration is open! Calvary Chapel Eastside’s Awana program is a great way for young people to draw near to Jesus as they hide God’s Word in their hearts. Knowing how God wants us to live out our faith is vitally important to our spiritual health and the future of our children.

We are kicking off our 2022-23 season on Wednesday, September 14th, 7-8:30pm. All children 3 years through 6th grade will grow in their love and knowledge of Jesus through the Bible in this multi-leveled club.

CCA NORTHWEST CONFERENCE: NO GREATER FOUNDATION • CCE is hosting the 2022 Calvary Chapel Association (CCA) Northwest Conference for all those desiring to serve in the Body of Christ.

COMMUNION STATIONS • CCE is offering weekly Communion at four different stations in the sanctuary. We will continue to share corporate Communion one Sunday every month, and we encourage you to enjoy a more private/intimate time of Communion and Prayer on the other Sundays by visiting one of these stations during the time of worship that follows the message. Feel free to select from individual elements or the all-in-one packets at each of our Communion/Prayer stations.

CUSTODIAN/MAINTENANCE ENGINEER • CCE is looking to hire a part-time custodian and maintenance engineer. This is a paid position. Please contact the Church Office if interested.

VOLUNTEER HELP NEEDED | CCE A/V TEAM • Are you interested in participating in our ever-expanding audio/video ministry? Please fill out a connect card with your contact information and a note that you would like to participate. We are currently teaching volunteers how to mix sound for both our in-house congregation and those listening online here and abroad. We are also training volunteers in video, lighting, and streaming technologies.

MISSIONS SPOTLIGHT | PAPUA NEW GUINEA • This month's featured missionary is The Ferguson Family. Adam, Anna, Jael, Karis, Miles, Libby, and Tessa are a full time missionary family, serving with Ethnos360 among the Lembena people of Papua New Guinea.

Dedicated to learning the culture and understanding the language, they have been leading a literacy program, developing lessons for chronological bible teaching, completing a Bible translation, and building a self-sustaining church for these special people.
