1. We are involved in an EPIC BATTLE between good and evil, but the OUTCOME is already DECIDED.
2. We OVERCOME a formidable and FURIOUS FOE by UNCONVENTIONAL means.
3. We expect both Satan’s ATTACK and God’s HELP, so the key is to be FEARLESS and FAITHFUL.

Discussion Questions

1. Are you more of an optimist or more of a realist? Give an example. Who is someone you know who is a great example of an optimist? How about a realist?

2. Revelation 12 had a great deal of symbolism but carried great truth. Are you more of an imaginative, creative, visual person? Or more of a logical, fact-oriented person? How can both come together to instruct and motivate us?

3. Pastor Quintin shared three main points from Revelation 12:

· We are involved in an EPIC BATTLE between good and evil, but the
OUTCOME is already DECIDED.

· We OVERCOME a formidable and FURIOUS FOE by
UNCONVENTIONAL means.

· We expect both Satan’s ATTACK and God’s HELP, so the key is to be
FEARLESS and FAITHFUL.

Which point stood out most to you and why?

4. In the message/passage, what was encouraging, challenging, confusing, or enlightening?

5. Choose the one most impactful statement for you from Revelation 12. Explain.

6. Read Ephesians 6:1-18. When we think of spiritual warfare, we want to avoid the extremes of being oblivious or being obsessed. Rather, we are to be observant (aware, watchful, careful, confident). Why are these truths important in the life of a Jesus-follower? How can they impact you this week?

7. Pastor Quintin shared that sometimes we fight the wrong enemy, and sometimes we fight with the wrong weapons. Read verse 17. Based on this verse, who is the ultimate enemy, and what are our best weapons? How do these truths shape how you relate to temptations and struggles? Spiritual explorers, doubters, and skeptics in your life? The culture around you?
