A Devine reversal!!

The dictionary definition of Chaos:
"A state of utter confusion or disorder."
"A total lack of organization or order."
"Any confused, disorderly mass."
"The formless matter supposed to have preceded the existence of the ordered universe."

SOME OF THE WORDS RELATED TO CHAOS INCLUDE:
anarchy, disarray, discord, disorder, lawlessness, tumult,
turmoil, clutter, tree-for-all, muddle, snarl, unruliness

If your life is characterized by confusion & disorder.
If you are in turmoil and overwhelmed by clutter.

The opposite of chaos is expressed by these words:
"Calm, harmony, order, peace, normality, and quiet."

There is a Hebrew word that expresses those same things.
IT'S THE WORD SHALOM!
Shalom means peace, wholeness, and well-being. It includes health, prosperity, security, and tranquility,

The Hebrew language gives some interesting insights into meaning of shalom.
The pictographic symbols for the Hebrew word shalom (shin, lamed, vav, mem) can read:
*Destroy the authority that binds to chaos!" (The Passion Bible commentary on psalm 34:14)

The noun shalom is derived from verb shalam, which means "to restore"
It means to provide what is needed to make someone whole and complete.
When shalom comes, chaos is finally broken!

SATAN ALWAYS WANTS TO PROMOTE CHAOS
The good news is, we have a God who can break the power of Chaos.
God always wants to break us out of Chaos and bring us into his SHALOM.

He showed us how to do that in the very first chapter of the Bible,
So lets take a few minutes to look at Genesis 1

V. 1 In the beginning God created
the heavens & the earth (Full Stop!]
That tells us there's some kind of break between V1 & v2.
V. 2….but the earth WAS formless & empty
Many Bibles have a text note:
" became"
This is the same word used later in Genesis for
"Lot's wife BECAME a pillar of salt»
so we COULD translate this.

V 2. But the earth became FORMLESS & EMPTY
TOHU & BOHU - "A WRECK and a RUIN"
TOHU & BOHU don't describe something merely "unformed & empty;" When those words are used other places in the Bible, they always describe judgment and utter devastation!

The RESTORATION of a DEVASTATED world!
Vs 1: Describes the Original Act of Creation:
"Back at the very beginning, GOD CREATED THE UNIVERSE"
(NOTE: It doesn't say when! …Billions of years ago?)
Vs 2: "But at the start of THIS account..
..We find an earth devastated by God's judgment!
It has become a "wreck & ruin!" A CHAOS!
In the rest of Genesis chapter 1 we see that in 6 days, God
RESTORES the devastated earth P-sets, stage for redemption!
If you understand Genesis 1, no conflict with science!
Genesis 1 does not teach a *young universe!"

The church is called God's ECCLESIA!
An ecclesia was a LEGISLATIVE BODY.
It established BOUNDARIES & MADE DECREES!

How does the church break chaos?
WE DO IT BY THE SPIRIT
We invoke the power of the Holy Spirit to come and hover over our cities, and to enforce God's will in the earth by POWER MINISTRY, by miracles, by healing the sick, & driving out demons!

WE DO IT BY THE WORD!
God authorizes His church declare His prophetic Word, so principalities and powers are overcome and the spiritual atmosphere of our cities change!

HOW QUEEN ESTHER OVERTURNED WHAT WAS UNTENABLE!
