Beliefs That Hurt
1. Signs, Miracles and Wonders ARE NOT for us today.
Those who believe this way say that all gifts of the Spirit, signs, miracles and wonders were given only to authenticate the ministry of Moses, Jesus and the Apostles. When all these left the earth, all went with them.
You must know the TRUTH in order to detect a LIE.
2. God CONTROLS EVERYTHING that comes into your life: good or bad.
Your part is to get saved and then hang on!!
People TWIST these scriptures to say that God directs or allows sickness, disease, and adversity into your life to give you patience, and to test your faith. If you want patience then you should pray for trouble to come into your life, and don’t fight sickness because God gave it or allowed it to mature you; to work together for your good.
If you don’t know God is for you, you will think or assume He’s against you.
Patience comes through the scriptures and is a fruit of the spirit (long suffering).
