God has called us to be part of something big and significant. We can live our lives for significance today and beyond - causing a ripple effect with eternal impact! But we cannot do this on our own. Our lives are transformed to make waves as we turn to God by accepting his gift of salvation in Jesus. The good fruit that makes a difference comes from Jesus making us new. Praise God and embrace this calling!

Peter started to walk to Jesus on the water, but when he took his eyes off of Jesus, he noticed the wind. Jesus didn't leave Peter at that moment, but Peter was afraid because of his surroundings. In this life, there will be moments where we have to choose to keep our eyes on Jesus. There will be things that try to distract or scare us, but we have Jesus! As long as we stay plugged into Jesus, we can do what seems impossible!

God has called you to be a bright light that stands out in this very dark world. No matter your age, you're never too young to set an example to others of God's love and how He's forever changed your life. So, going back to school, home, church, the grocery store, or wherever you end up, choose daily to Make Waves by living out the Fruit of the Spirit that God blesses you with. You may be misunderstood, mocked, or even hated for doing good, but you're never alone. Remember that God helps you to be strong, brave, and unafraid. Don't give up because you will be rewarded in God's perfect timing.
