Back to School Supply Drive

First Free is lucky enough to be located between two elementary schools, which puts us in the perfect location to serve these schools as the new school year approaches! We will be collecting school supplies from July 1st to 22nd for children in our area who need them. Please check out the list of supplies at – we asked the schools what items were needed. We’ll have bins around the church at the entrances so dropping off supplies will be easy! On July 23rd we’ll be inviting families to come in and “shop” our supplies. We’ll need a few volunteers to help out, so if you’re interested, click below! Thank you in your advance for your support of the kids in our community!

Cup of Nations Youth Tournament

Cup of Nations is a local soccer tournament geared at bringing together immigrants in the St. Louis area. This tournament (July 16-17) is an amazing opportunity to connect with immigrants in St. Louis through soccer. We need volunteers to help make it all happen – to get involved, click the link below!

Christmas Play Interest Meeting

Calling all actors! If you love donning a costume, memorizing lines, and sharing the wonder of live performance, then First Free Church’s Christmas production needs you! Learn how you can celebrate this Christmas season through the power of theater. There will be performance opportunities as well as production team positions to be filled. Details will be shared at the informational meeting.

Membership Class

Our membership course covers the basics of spiritual growth, the history and doctrine of our church, and the benefits and expectations that accompany membership.
The next course will be offered on Sundays from 10:30 am – 12 pm beginning October 16 to November 13. Weekly class attendance is expected. Sign up at the link below!

Bridge of Hope Tutoring

Right now, the two elementary schools nearest Bridge of Hope in north St. Louis city have only a 4-6% reading proficiency rate, but you can help improve that number. If you’ve been looking for a tangible way to impact the lives of others during the pandemic, we’ve got a great one for you! Bridge of Hope has created an online tutoring program to help these children learn to read. It only takes 40 minutes, twice a week, and the impact can last a lifetime.

Bridge of Hope provides the curriculum and training you need to be successful.
