In a post-modern, post-Christian, and post-Pandemic world, what should be the priority of the Church? What is at stake should the Church not follow God’s instruction and mandate? How can God use my life in God’s plan for His Church? What should my posture be as a Christ follower?

Great questions! Jesus’ commandment to His disciples (and to us) will answer these questions:

Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20 CSB)

1. Why Christians Do Not Go
· Wrong priorities
· Apathy
· Fear

2. How to Overcome Obstacles to Going
· Priorities: Our Lord has set the example (Luke 19:10)
· Apathy: Soul-winning demands urgency
· Fear: Christ promises to go with us (v 20)

3. Where Shall We Go?
· No limits: “into the world” (Mark 16:15)

What will happen when we start going?
· We will find evangelism a great adventure
· Our fears will be replaced with faith
· We will experience the joy of obedience and service
· Winning souls brings present rejoicing and future joy (Luke 15:10)
