EDIFICATION...building others up, making others better; improving the life of those we love.
2. UNWARRANTED FORGIVENESS requires a "LET-IT-GO" ATTITUDE.

- there’s more than just you & your offender/offended
- doesn’t disvalue you/your feelings
- doesn’t condone what they did
- doesn’t reduce the hurt/repercussions
LIVE-WITH-IT means...
- I carry it
- I contend with it daily
- I’m the victim
A VICTIM never gets to live in VICTORY!
- there’s more than just you & your offender/offended
- doesn’t disvalue you/your feelings
- doesn’t condone what they did
- doesn’t reduce the hurt/repercussions
LIVE-WITH-IT means...
- I carry it
- I contend with it daily

BITTERNESS...
- it’s holding onto something as if the longer you hold it, the better it will get.
“Bitterness is you drinking the poison you poured for someone else & hoping they die from it!”
WRATH/ANGER...
- it's extreme anger
- wrath is written 209 times in Scripture

- it’s scandalous remarks about someone; defamation; smear campaign
MALICE...
- it's vengeful hate; animosity vs. hostility; maliciousness
Remember this...
The single-most-unselfish; most-Godly, most-appropriate-Christlike and effective way to handle conflict is kindness mixed with forgiveness.

4. UNWARRANTED FORGIVENESS requires EMPATHY. UNWARRANTED FORGIVENESS results in EDIFICATION.

- it's vicariously experiencing the emotions, thoughts, or attitudes of another.
